Bottom Line Productions is an Edmonton-based arts marketing company founded in 1993 by Darka Tarnawsky. One of Bottom Line’s first clients was the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival. Twenty two years later, Darka and her team at Bottom Line continue to promote the festival and the amazing artists that are part of it each July. “Throughout my years in the biz, nothing makes me happier than the street artists I have the privilege of meeting at StreetFest each year. Their talent, courage, unique stories, sense of humour and humility…. it’s a treat for me to juggle the media and put them in the spotlight every summer in Edmonton! www.bottomlinepro.com
Update: In the introduction to this episode, David mentions that Gazzo was at the very first Edmonton International Street Performer’s Festival in 1985… This prompted Dick Finkel (producer of the festival) to write this:
David…..just for the record; in your intro for Gazzo’s interview you mention that he was at our 1st Festival……NOT SO.
he did play here a couple of times, but not until at least our 5th or 6th year.
