The Busker Hall of Fame exists to create a living oral history about street performing and some of the crazy characters who populate this world. Working to foster an appreciation of the largely unrecorded history and heritage of street arts and it’s global significance, the Busker Hall of Fame carries out this mission through its podcast series Stories From The Pitch, a Hall of Fame honoring icons who have made significant contributions to the street arts, as well the curation of an online resource that collects and exhibits historical contributions, artifacts and performances.
The Busker Hall of Fame is home to the constantly evolving story of street theater, recognition of its greatest practitioners, and a place to honor the few that have contributed so much.
